Roger Handcock, Fixtures Secretary of Trefloyne Seniors’ Section and manage all the fixtures that the section plays. I am also keen to develop new relationships with other clubs that we don’t currently play against and would be pleased to talk to any other fixtures secretaries to explore options that may exist.
The Mens’ Seniors section held their annual trip at Bryn Meadows from September 7th to the 9th. We were lucky to escape with fair weather and enjoyed the scenic Parkland course. Great facilities, tasty dining and friendly staff completed the experience.
After two days of 18 holes, Mark “Laser” Lewis came in with 66 points. Andy “Penally Punisher” Payne and Robin “long-haul hitter” Lloyd tied on 68 points.
Both nearest the pin and longest drive were won by Robin and Andy on days one and two respectively. Robin won the tour championship on count-back and was awarded the green jack by last year’s winner, Nick “grip it and rip it” Griffiths
